THE BAD NEWS

As a working estimate:

Every cigarette you smoke reduces your life-span by 11 minutes.
For the life you have left, it reduces your quality of life [i.e., you are diseased] by 11 minutes.

So, 20 a day means that TODAY you reduced your life by 3 hours 36 minutes and for the remaining time you have left you chose another diseased 3 hours 36 minutes. Now if you multiply that by the days in a year ..... so 55 days lost for every year smoking. And you very probably do get to have a selection of the above diseases.

>> The latest from research. Deaths from smoking start at age 35 years. Half of all smokers die early because they smoked, directly through cancer and related diseases. Professor Chris Amos (M D Anderson Cancer Centre) said that there are so many cancer-causing compounds in tobacco smoke that it's hard to separate them ..."
